Mark Jourdain
Founder & Managing Director
Mark Jourdain founded Solution Consultants (SolCo) in 2009 having worked for a number of telecoms businesses for 15 years. As managing director, Mark has overseen the growth of the business from start-up, to becoming a leading Managed Service Provider & Energy Procurement business. Mark’s interest mainly revolve around sport, family, friends & his two dogs.
Chris Pollard
Sales Director
Chris joined SolCo in 2019 as Sales Director, with a wealth of experience in telecoms and IT. As well as growing our client base, Chris has also grown an extensive network of trusted partners in the Thames Valley area.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, playing football and looking after an assorted range of household pets accumulated by the rest of his family over many years.
Orville Farrell
IT Service Manager
Orville joined Solco in 2024 as IT Service Manager, having several years in the Hospitality (Hotels specific) Sector as an IT Manager.
Orville now heads up our Service Team to bring structure and performance improvements in responding to our client’s needs.
Orville has a keen interest in photography and spends his spare time taking pictures for family and friends. Other spare time is spent as a volunteer in the local community through different organisations.
Shirley Ralfe
Energy Account Director
Shirley joined SolCo in 2018 as an Accounts Director. She comes from a successful Corporate Management background, with 15 years in General Management, Energy Procurement and Customer Service. Her interests centre around her family, friends and her love for animals.
Connor Smith
3rd Line Support
Connor joined SolCo in early 2017. He’s been in IT since he finished his IT apprenticeship in 2014, since then he’s been undertaking exams to gain additional qualifications to expand his knowledge. Connor keeps our network in check as well as providing support to our customers, he helps the team out with any technical enquiries and assists the engineers on-site when needed. Connors spare time mainly consists of watching the latest movies, cooking, seeing his friends and playing his PC/PS4.
James Sawyer Ross
Account Manager
James joined SolCo in March 2024 as our account manager. James previously worked as a senior IT support engineer with a key interest in cyber security and networking. In James’ spare time, he enjoys playing and watching football and spending time with his family.
Tom Liu
2nd Line Support
Tom joined SolCo early 2023 having previous experience in the legal and education industry. He successfully completed his Apprenticeship with us in 2024 and continues to work on increasing his technical skills and knowledge. During Tom’s spare time he’s usually socialising with his friends, drawing, or playing his PS5.
Jacob Harkin
1st Line Support
Jacob joined SolCo in the Autumn of 2024 to support the continued growth of the support team. He is currently undertaking training to improve his skills and understanding of VoIP systems and network configurations. During his spare time he likes to spend time with his friends and family. He also loves to play football.
He also plays games on a regular basis like FiFa and Call of duty.
Haider Khawaja
Business Technical Sales Apprentice
Haider joined SolCo in 2024 as a Business Technical Sales Apprentice working alongside Chris and James supporting the Sales team. Currently working on broadening his knowledge of the products and services provided. During his spare time, he likes to spend time with family and friends, be in the outdoors and care for his two goldfish.
Lori De Lange
Energy Administration Manager
Lori joined SolCo at the end of 2024 to support the Energy Procurement team. She has more than a decade’s experience in administration, data management and customer support.
Lori’s strong work ethic and helpful nature will be instrumental in growing this sector of the business. Out of hours Lori loves spending time at home with her family, friends, and large assortment of animals.
Rhys Gansen‑Jones
Operations & Billing Manager
Rhys joined the team in 2025 as the Operations and Billing Manager, bringing over 11 years of experience in the MSP industry. Throughout his career, he has worked with various clients across multiple industries, optimising operations and developing tailored solutions in presales to meet their unique needs. Outside of work, Rhys is an avid board game enthusiast and enjoys weekly game nights with his social group. He loves cooking and cherishes spending quality time with his family.
James Gullen
1st Line Engineer
James joined SolCo in December 2024 as a 1st Line Engineer, bringing a strong background in computer troubleshooting and repair, and hardware expertise with a foundation in Computer Science.
With previous support desk experience, James is dedicated to delivering excellent service to our clients.
In his spare time, James enjoys cooking, watching scary movies, Harry Potter, and maintaining his personal NAS server, a project that keeps his technical skills sharp even outside of work.
He values continually learning and staying up to date with advancements in IT to better support his team and clients.
